Extra-Thick Insulation
Most mini tanks have 20-25mm of foam. Ours has 40mm of high-density polyurethane. That's nearly double. It keeps the heat in when the air around it is freezing. In an unheated garage at 20°F, our 2.5-gallon unit will keep water above 50°F for over 24 hours without power.
Low-Temperature Thermostat
Standard thermostats only go down to 50°F. Ours goes to 35°F. That means you can set it to maintain just enough heat to prevent freezing without wasting energy keeping the tank hot when no one's there.
Freeze-Protection Mode
On select models, a built-in sensor detects when the ambient temperature drops below 40°F. It automatically cycles the element to keep the tank above freezing, even if the unit is set to "off." No special wiring, no extra gadgets. It just works.
Drainable Design for Winterizing
When your customer closes the cabin for the season, they need to drain the tank. Our full-port brass drain valve actually works-even after years of use. Attach a hose, open it, and the tank empties completely. No trapped water, no freezing risk.
