On the 8th, the national pig iron price rose steadily, and the transaction was weak. Among them, the average price of pig iron L8-L10 for steelmaking in 10 cities is 3476 yuan/ton, up by 6 yuan/ton compared with the previous trading day; The average Q10 price of 8-city ductile iron is 3885 yuan/ton, which is the same as that of the previous trading day. The average price of cast pig iron Z18 in 10 cities was 3,871 yuan/ton, which was the same as the previous trading day.

Second, tomorrow's forecast
In terms of supply and demand, the downstream demand has not been released obviously, but the blast furnaces of pig iron enterprises have resumed production one after another, and the supply pressure of pig iron has increased. In terms of cost, the coke market is stable, iron ore fluctuates within a narrow range, and the cost of pig iron remains high, which strongly supports the price of pig iron. On the market side, except for a small increase in quotations due to shortage of specifications in some regions, the pig iron price continues to rise weakly in most regions because the downstream demand recovery is less than expected, but there is no willingness to ship at a low price under the support of high cost, so it is expected that the pig iron market will be stable tomorrow.
